Mandatory and optional fees

When making a booking, you will initially see the rental price in which the possible discounts have already been processed. In addition to the rent, there are mandatory and optional costs. These are shown below. When making a (draft) booking, all of these amounts are shown so that you know exactly what the total costs are.

Payment terms

  • 40% when making the booking
  • 60% no later than six weeks before arrival

Mandatory fees

  • Administration costs
  • Bed linen (sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase)
  • Cleaning (price varies per house type)
  • Park costs (water and electricity)
  • Tourist tax (above 18 years)

Pets

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

We make your beds for free before arrival so that you can immediately start celebrating your holiday.

Travel information

Two weeks before arrival you will receive all necessary information by e-mail. Some points on this:

  • Arrival between 16.00 and 19.00, departure before 10.00.
  • If you are arriving later, you can email and consult with the reception before departure.
  • If you are delayed during your trip, there is an emergency number in the arrival information
  • Directions for the last part of the journey are included in this email. The website also has a map with interactive directions

Our hostess and host

Bonjour! We, Josephine and Alfred, are your hostess and host at AlpChalets Portes du Soleil on behalf of FranceComfort. In this beautiful resort in the French Alps, we ensure that you have an unforgettable holiday by offering you just that little bit more service and comfort. We not only provide a clean apartment and a morning bread service, but are also happy to give you tips about the area or will reserve a table at one of the restaurants in the area at your request. That extra service and attention is appreciated by many!

Tourist tips

Do you like to go out with your partner or with the family? On our page with tourist tips there are a large number of tips with detailed descriptions, photos and usually also a video. This way you can prepare yourself well at home, but also have a look around at what you want to do the coming days.

Photos

The photos give an impression of the house. Because the houses are owned by private owners, the interior of each house will differ. So no rights can be derived from these photos.

Wifi

There is wifi at the park. Every house also has wi-fi. However, the speed is lower than you are probably used to at home. It is not suitable for downloading heavy files but only for holiday use.

Deposit

A deposit of € 300 (apartments) or € 500 (penthouses) must be paid upon arrival. You can pay the deposit in two ways:

  • Credit card: We will reserve the amount on your credit card. If there is no damage, we will cancel your reservation free of charge within a week. Just make sure you know the PIN code for your card.
  • Debit card; The amount will be debited from your account and if there is no damage, you will receive a refund but will be charged € 15, - administration costs. The remaining amount will be refunded approximately 14 days after departure. Do not forget to fill in your bank details on the check-out form when departing.
