In the Provence, one of the most beautiful areas of France, lies the luxurious resort "Vallée de la Ste. Baume". All villas have air conditioning. The park is situated on a slope at the foot of Ste. Baume, surrounded by vineyards and pine trees.
Vallée de la Ste. Baume is the perfect starting point for visiting many tourist villages such as Cassis and Bandol. Aix en Provence and Marseille are at a distance of 50 km. Moreover, the Mediterranean Sea can be reached within half an hour by car.
Along the coast you will find fjords, small bays and beaches. An ideal place for a fantastic holiday.
The centre of the picturesque, typical Provencal village of Nans-les-Pins is located at about 2.5 km away. The village features several boulangeries, where you can enjoy delicious fresh bread at any time of the day. There are several butchers, greengrocers and a small supermarket. There is also an ATM. The traditional village has cosy streets with bars and terraces.
The atmosphere is complete with a 17th century chapel, castle ruins and remains of the former fortified town. The climb of the Ste. Baume is also a special experience: at the top you have a beautiful view over the Mediterranean Sea, but just below the summit is the famous chapel carved into the mountain. The legend is that Mary Magdalene would have withdrawn here in this cave more than 2,000 years ago.
Every Sunday morning, you can enjoy a typical Provençal market where everything is for sale: fruit, vegetables, herbs, cheeses, olives, sausage, meat, honey, flowers, soaps, clothing and lavender water.
The small markets of Nans-les-Pins, St. Zacharie and St. Maximin de La Sainte Baume give a good impression of Provencal life. In the larger towns, there is also a “marché au brocante” (flea market).
Just outside the village, the holiday park Vallée de la Ste. Baume is located, a beautiful resort with an exclusive look. The 34 luxury Provencal villas have spacious terraces and landscaped gardens. Most of the villas have a private pool. Of course there is free Wi-Fi everywhere.
The communal facilities are located at the entrance. Next to the reception with Englisch-speaking staff, there is also a bread service. The same building also houses a bar, an ice cream parlour and relaxation area.
The Villa Park has a swimming pool and children's pool with surrounding terraces with loungers and umbrellas and play equipment for small children. Because most villas have their own swimming pool, there is always plenty of space in and around the communal swimming pool. For older children and adults, there is a table tennis table, a bocce court and atennis court. On this court you can play for free, tennis rackets can be rented from the bar.
The entire park is secured all around and has a gate. Privacy and security are thus guaranteed.
Near the park is a beautiful golf course: 'Golf de la Sainte Baume'. In the vicinity you will find several golf courses. At the golf "Ste. Baume" and "Barbaroux" you receive a discount through the managers.
There are various options for charging electric cars in the vicinity of the park.
The 6 person villas in the park are on very large lots and are fully equipped with all amenities. There is great attention to comfort and equipment. There is satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. There are two different types:
All villas feature a private garden, terrace(s), garden furniture and shelter from the sun. Several villas have a private pool.
The area is ideal for outdoor activities with and without children: climbing the Ste. Baume with picnic, hiking to the source of the Huveaune, mountain biking, riding velorail, horseback riding, water biking on the Lac Ste Croix and the Gorges du Verdon, golfing at one of the five golf courses in the area, sea canoeing to the Calanques of Cassis, making a Calanque trip to one of the tour boats, sailing, renting a motor boat on Île de Porquerolles and exploring all the bays, snorkeling, crossing the bay of St. Tropez from St. Maxime with green boats and arriving in the heart of St Tropez, visiting adventure parks, climbing the Mont Ventoux, exploring castles (Baux de Provence), visiting Marseille and taking le petit train to enjoy the view from the high church of Notre Dame de la Garde, or just visiting the sandy beach of les Leques, le Port d'Alon. In addition, many city trips are possible, such as Aix-en-Provence, Nice and Monaco.
