Mandatory and optional costs
When making a booking, you will first see the rental price which includes any discounts. In addition to the rent, there are mandatory and optional costs. These are shown below. When making a (provisional) booking, the amounts are shown so you know exactly what the total costs are.
Payment terms
- 40% when making the booking
- 60% no later than six weeks before arrival

Pets
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the park. A few villas are suitable for dogs. In all other villas, dogs are never allowed, making them suitable for guests who, for example, are allergic to pets. Please let us know when booking if you are allergic or if you would like to bring your dog. You may only bring your dog after receiving confirmation from us.
If you bring your dog, the following rules apply:
- Dogs are not allowed on beds, sofas or chairs
- If damage is caused in or around the house, please report this immediately
- Dogs must be kept on a leash within the park
- Outside the park, dogs may be let off their leashes where permitted
- Please remove your dog’s droppings immediately, whether in the garden or elsewhere in the park
- Please make sure neighbours are not disturbed by your dog (or its barking)
- A fee is charged per night for your dog. This amount is shown in your draft booking

Travel information
Two weeks before arrival you will receive all the information for your arrival by email. Some key points:
- Arrival is between 16:00 and 19:00, and departure is before 10:00
- If you arrive later, please email reception before you set off to discuss your arrival arrangements
- For a later arrival between 20:00 – 21:00 without prior notice, we charge a surcharge of €10. For a later arrival between 21:00 – 22:00 without prior notice, we charge a surcharge of €25. If you arrive after 22:00 without prior notice, reception can assist you again the following morning from 8:30.
- If you are delayed during your journey, there is an emergency number in the arrival information.
- A route description is included for the final stretch. The website also has a map with an interactive route description
Our hostess and host
We are Valérie & Gert. At Etang Vallier we make sure you can fully enjoy your holiday. Your luxury holiday home is clean when you arrive, and there is plenty of entertainment in the area for young and old. You can visit tourist villages, spend a day at the beach or visit castles and caves.
Many guests spend the whole day at our recreational lake with its small sandy beach, where they can relax and enjoy themselves all day long.
It’s no surprise that many guests return year after year. À bientôt!

Tourist tips
Do you enjoy going out and about with your partner or family? On our tourist tips page you will find a large number of tips with detailed descriptions, photos and usually also a video. This way you can prepare well at home, but also check during your holiday what you want to do the next day.
Photos
The photos give an impression of the house. Since the houses are owned by private owners, each house will differ. Therefore, no rights can be derived from these photos.

Deposit
Upon arrival you must pay a deposit of €300 (houses with jacuzzi €400 and with swimming pool €500). Preferably by credit card or debit card. The amount is blocked (so not actually charged!) on your account. About 2 weeks after departure, the block is lifted if there is no damage. If the deposit is paid directly by bank transfer or in cash, the amount will be refunded approximately 14 days after departure, provided that you have supplied your IBAN.
Wifi
Many houses have Wi-Fi, while others have little or no Wi-Fi reception. Please note that the speed is likely to be lower than you are used to at home. The connection is intended for holiday use only and is not suitable for downloading large files.
Private swimming pool / jacuzzi
The private swimming pool or jacuzzi is heated, so the water will be a few degrees warmer. However, a specific temperature cannot be guaranteed, as this depends on the outside temperature during both the day and night.
Electric cars
There is no central charging point for electric cars in the park. Charging stations are available in the village for your use. Payment for charging can be made with all common charging cards.
