The pool for toddlers
The youngest guests have also been thought of. For toddlers there is a spacious, shallow pool where they can safely play and splash. While the children enjoy themselves in the water, parents often relax at the edge of the pool or on a sun lounger nearby. It is also a pleasant spot where holidaymakers can meet and share experiences.
With a bucket, spade or other water toys toddlers can entertain themselves here for hours. For many families, the toddlers’ pool is one of the favourite spots at the holiday park.
Dress code
In many public French swimming pools, dress codes apply, for example swim shorts are not permitted. These rules do not apply to the Etang Vallier swimming pool. Because it is a private pool for park guests, guests may simply wear swim shorts, boardshorts or other usual swimwear.
Safely enclosed pool
For the safety of young children, the pool is fully fenced in. Access is via a secured entrance, so young children cannot simply enter the pool area on their own. This allows parents to enjoy their holiday with peace of mind.
Supervision
In French public swimming pools, supervision by a qualified lifeguard is mandatory. However, the swimming pools at Etang Vallier holiday park are not public pools, as they are exclusively accessible to guests of the holiday park and not to outside visitors.
Therefore, there is no permanent supervision present at the pool. Clear information boards are displayed at the secured entrances, stating that parents are themselves responsible for their children and their behaviour in and around the pool. We advise parents to never let young children go into the water without supervision.
